If you are running Windows Vista, you probably already found out, that you could just play Trackmania United on it (and Trackmania Nations with a trick). With the latest patches, even before the release of Trackmania Forever, Nadeo makes all TM Games compatible to Windows Vista, you just need to download the latest update from the ingame launcher, and Trackmania Original, Trackmania Sunrise, and even the older versions will perfectly run on Windows Vista. And those patches were first released on August 20, so if you're a Vista user you probably got them already ^^

And what about Macintosh ?! My Windows computer is down since this summer and i've just a Macbook... And i want to come back in tmn world :'(

install windows on another partition other than the one of OSX?
my roommate did the same, because he needs windows for school etc
he uses windowed windows in OSX now

What's the difference between vista and windows home server 2008? I mean does it have all the features of vista ultimate ? can i play all the game in home server 2008 witch is run in vista ultimate ?

just look at the date of the topic... its years ago. there wont be any problems today

simply put, getting games to work properly on a server os is a real pain and even then some will flat out refuse to install.
your better off getting a copy of 7
